System Engineer - Brussels - 6 Months

We are looking for a System engineer to start ASAP in BRUSSELS

DESCRIPTION:

The System Engineer will be responsible for the operational management of the BeNeLux infrastructure. You ensure the design, development, configuration and maintenance of the global Windows system solution.

MAIN JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage and monitor LAN/WAN network services
- Recommend and acquire equipment replacements and upgrades
- Maintain an inventory of all network devices
- Draft and maintain LAN/WAN documentation and processes
- Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing data center environments
- Perform routine audits of systems and software
- Installing, configuring, updating and maintaining server software/hardware
- High-level problem troubleshooting
- Assessing where the company stands as far as IT system performance/efficiency, compared to where it would like to be, and compiling recommendations on how to improve performance.

REQUIRED SKILL SET:

- Microsoft certification such as MCSE
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with the technologies you will be working with:
- Windows 2008R2
- AD/GPO
- Exchange 2007
- VMWare
- Citrix
- Experience in large scale project management. (Prince2, ITIL)

LANGUAGE:

- Dutch and French
- English is a plus
