System Architect

Link Technologies is looking for a Systems Architect. The Systems Architect will be responsible for developing and implementing a detailed plan to move all of the resources from the current municipality client Active Directory.  This migration includes building a new virtual server farm for the client applications.

The following is a list of the Major components of this migration.

- Coordinate and assist in the development of new infrastructure
- Develop and implement detailed plan for Active Directory/Email migration - Approximately 350 accounts
- Coordinate migration of business applications to new infrastructure (in conjunction with business application vendors)
- Plan and implement migration of IVR system to client data center
- Plan and implement storage migration

Required Skills:

- Experience with VMWare ESX Version 5
- Experience with Windows Server 2008 and Active Directory
- Experience with Windows Systems Center Operations Manager and Windows System Center Configuration Manager
- Experience with Exchange 2010 email migration
- Experience with planning and implementing virtual server farms using VMware.
- Experience with Active Directory services
- Experience with Microsoft IIS6 and IIS7
- Ability to coordinate with several agencies and vendors using ITIL change control processes
- Highly organized, detail oriented, effective communication skills with the ability to develop and manage detailed project plans.
