System Administrator - Vmware/Cloud Infrastructure (5297)

For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - VMWARE/CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE (5297)

In this role, you will take responsibility of the administration and management of virtualization infrastructure VMware of the SWISS region for different divisions (approx. 1100 ESX Hosts and 17000 VMs).

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- EXPERIENCE IN VIRTUALIZATION (VMWARE VSPHERE) AND ENTERPRISE STORAGE AND BACKUP SYSTEMS
- SOLID VMWARE/VIRTUALIZATION UNDERSTANDING (VROPS, VCAC AND MIGRATION TOOL PLATESPIN)
- Experienced in IaaS/CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURe Matrix including HP CSA, MM, and Operation Orchestrator management
- Strong skills in configuration and administration using virtualization applications, troubleshooting and capacity planning for virtualization applications
- Well versed conducting P2V AND V2V MIGRATIONS
- Exact and independent approach to work
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Implementation, management and administration of IaaS/Cloud Infrastructure Matrix including HP CSA, MM, and Operation Orchestrator
- Performing upgrades for virtual infrastructure like VMware VSphere 5.5 to 6.0
- Participation in project work and activities
- Capacity and performance analysis, managing and reporting
- Performing P2V and V2V migrations
- Developing scripts to report and solve operational problems
- VMware Tools: vROPS, vCAC and migration tool Platespin
- Administration and management of HP 3PAR Storage
