Our client is a Swiss financial institute, based in Zürich. In order to reinforce their team, Swisslinx is seeking a System Administrator VMWARE for a 6 months contract.
As a System Administrator your responsibilities would be the following:
- Administration and managing virtualisation infrastructure (VMWARE)
- Support and carrying out maintenance activities like patching, system upgrades, risk remediation work
- Perform new installations and upgrades for virtual infrastructure
- Perform configuration and administration using virtualisation applications
- Capacity and performance analysis
- Participation in shift work (every 6 weeks)
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking to find the best candidates with the following profile:
- Extensive experience (4+ years) in VMWARE ESXi 4 and ESXi 5
- Know-how on Windows server, Linux, Solaris, SQL and Storage
- Experience with PowerShell
- Experience with building Servers on ESX platform
- Fluency in English
