System Administrator | Sydney CBD | 3 Month Contract

THE CLIENT:

Our client is a leading global consultancy with a large Australian presence. In Australia they have offices in all of Australia's major states, all of which currently operate independently from an IT perspective.

THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking a Systems Administrator who can contribute to the functionality, availability and security of the infrastructure within the organisation. You will be supported by a full team (Helpdesk, Desktop & Systems).

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Deliveryof IT Services in accordance with company policies, minimising risk, maximising efficiency.
- Projection of a professional image at all times to suppliers, vendors, clients and potential clients
- High levels of network availability and performance as defined within business service level agreements
- Completion of general systems administration in a timely, complete and accurate fashion

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Our client is seeking a competent Systems Administrator with experience working in a corporate environment. At all times the primary focus is to delivery outstanding services to both internal stakeholders and (when required) external clients. You will be part of high performing team that have a proven track record of delivery first class service to the business.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS WILL INCLUDE:

- Active Directory 2003/2008 and Group Policy
- Experience working across a range of Microsoft Operating Systems (7, 8, 8.1, Server 2003, 2008, 2012)
- Virtualisation experience (VMWare, HyperV, Citrix)
- PABX/Voip Telephony experience
- Experience with Networking principles and protocols
- SAN, Backup Technologies, Tape Libraries etc (desirable)

In addition to the above any Microsoft Certifications will be looked upon favourably as well as experience working with an ITIL aligned organisation
