Our client based in Frankfurt is a leading financial institution who are urgently looking for an experienced System Administrator who comes from a Windows and Oracle background.
Requirements profile
- Installation, operation and administration of Linux server systems (RHEL, CentOS 6.x)
- Deployment of Servers, application Servers (JBoss Fuse, Tomcat) and Apps via Puppet/Foreman
- Monitoring the systems with Nagios (configuration)
- Tuning and reporting
- Operation and administration of Apache web Servers
- Operation and administration of application Servers (JBoss Fuse, Tomcat)
- Scripting skills Bash/Ruby, possibly Perl/Powershell, JavaScript
Nice-to-have:
- Advanced network skills
- VMware Know-How (vSphere ESX 5.5, 6)
- Good English knowledge
- Oracle knowledge
This will be a long term lucrative project lasting at least 18 months, please note you must be able to speak at least B2 Level German.
