System Administrator- Desktop Support

Responsibilities:

* Provide end user support to clients
* Identify conflicts and vulnerabilities in production system
* Monitor Gateway system metrics to stay within expected thresholds
* Automate repetitive system administration tasks
* Analyze system metrics and make necessary improvements to ensure system is performing optimally
* Work with Product Development to troubleshoot and test issues affecting Gateway system
* User provisioning (user accounts, mobile devices, VPN, directory permissions)
* Support system hardware in collocation environment
* Build, configure and upgrade workstations, laptops and mobile devices
* Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade our desktop managed servers

Requirements:

* Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science
* 4 years experience with Windows operating systems and architecture (large server environments)
* 3 years experience with SQL 2005 or 2008
* Experience performance tuning Windows OS versions, current and previous
* Experience in a 24x7 support environment
* Experience with Windows Clustering
* Experience with Dell\EMC SAN solutions
