"AIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR" contract opportunity
Experis is seeking an "AIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR" to join our Global client's international team
Description:- The AIX System Administrator shall join an international team to plan design and optimise the AIX and P7 Servers. On a 5-6 week rota working on standby is required for a week. Participation in project work is included as well as 2nd Level UNIX Sys Admin support.
Conversational German and fluent English is a must
Requirements:- At least 5 years experience with technical AIX implementations
AIX and P7
AIX architecture design skills
Basis Sun Solaris skills
Excellent UNIX Shell Scripting skills
Knowledge of ESX Administration is nice to have
2 years experience with Clusters, Veritas products
1 year experience dealing with Incident issues, Change and Release Management
Client focused
Work experience within large production IT environment is ideal
Minimum Educational background:- BSc or higher
ITIL V2 certification, the certification can be taken at a later stage
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
Solid conversational German communication skills are a must
