Description System Administrator (2nd line):
As (2nd line) System Administrator you will be part of the System Administration team. The team of Windows / Linux engineers is responsible for the administration of all internal IT systems. As 2nd line System Administrator, you will be responsible for administering our Windows and Linux servers. Additionally, you will offer support to our users. You will be responsible for the technical administration of our internal IT infrastructure, including our international offices and other locations. You will safeguard the continuity and the availability of business-critical systems and applications by pro-actively detecting and flagging faults within our environment. Your day-to-day duties will consist of maintaining our servers, network equipment, business applications and VOIP platform. You will support our Service Desk in handling incidents. Your duties will include:
Handling 2nd line incidents;
Supporting the 1st line in handling incidents;.
Maintaining our servers, network equipment, business applications and VOIP platform;
Executing projects without supervision, or as part of a group;

Requirements System Administrator (2nd line):
Professional and intellectual capacities at higher professional education (HBO) level attained through work or education/training;
You have at least 5 years experience as a system administrator in an environment with Windows as well as Linux servers;
Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2008R2. MCITP Windows Server 2008/2008R2 certification is preferred;
ITIL certification;
Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 preferred;
Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft SQL and MySQL will be an advantage;
Knowledge of and experience with VOIP will be an advantage;
Knowledge of and experience with Linux will be an advantage;
You are enthusiastic and motivated, and you are a team player;
You are stress resistant, have an accurate and structured working method, and you are able to execute projects without supervision;
You have a flexible attitude toward the work to be performed and working hours;
Good communication and social skills;
Good command of spoken and written Dutch and English;
Valid (category B) driver's license;
