Title: System Administrator

Location: Greensboro, NC

Duration: 12months + of contract

The candidate will work with a team in a generalist type model. Team member responsibilities may include, but not be limited to; day-to-day systems administrative tasks, projects, problem/change tickets, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

The candidate must have excellent troubleshooting and technical skills, be able to work weekends/after hours, and be on call as needed. The candidate must be a strong team player and have excellent written and communication skills since this is a customer facing position.

The primary skills/experience required are with IBM Power based Servers running AIX 6.1 or 7.1 and some Linux.

Skill requirement details:
IBM pSeries hardware experience - IBM Power6/Power7 based Servers.
AIX 6.1, 7.1 operating systems - minimum three years experience.
Hardware Management Consoles - minimum three years experience.
DNS, SMTP - minimum three years experience.
Support for IBM standard tools and compliance processes and some Linux experience would be great.
