Symantec Sonar Consultant

Our client is a respected, international financial company seeking a Senior Level Technical Consultant/PM resource with in-depth knowledge of Symantec's Sonar tool (Symantec Online Network for Advance Response). The resource should have prior experience implementing and/or activating SONAR.

OVERVIEW:

- Analyze the environment and make the necessary recommendations in order to deploy SONAR with zero noise.
- Update packaging processes to vet against SONAR
- Engage with major vendors to sign up to Symantec submissions process
- Engage with DB App Dev community to vet apps against SONAR
- Create ops processes for vetting apps and for reacting to incidents
- Analyze SONAR logs to identify detections
- Design phased process for turning SONAR into blocking mode
- Implement IT Analytics
- Maintain the environment while Symantec 12.1 is being installed

PM Tasks:

- Meet with and interact with senior managers
- Lead meetings and manage an action list with assigned tasks track progress
- Someone who can "drive change" in the environment
- Provide a roadmap/project plan for deployment

The resource needs to be onsite in Jersey City, NJ. The engagement will be for one year with possible extension.

SONAR expertise required.
