Symantec DLP Engineer Switzerland

JOB/ROLE DESCRIPTION:

- Provide onsite Symantec DLP technical service and support to a a Large Enterprise customer base
- Provide guidance, recommendations, best practices, etc. for DLP operations,stabilize and optimize DLP system performance, including rules and reports
- Assist with DLP upgrades, installations and configuration.
- Liaise with Symantec Support, Engineering, Product Management, and other areas within Symantec on behalf of the customer
- Provide single point of contact and hands-on escalation and remediation forcritical issues.
- Respond rapidly to unplanned events, including afterhours for Severity 1 issues.
- Proactively communicate relevant technical information and alerts on known issues, hot fixes, new releases, etc.
- Provide regular status reports for critical incidents, projects and proactive services
- Architectural solutions and enhancements related to a sophisticated and diverse

Symantec DLP deployment.

- This role will involve extensive co-ordination with various technical groups and business representatives.

MINIMUM OR BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS:

- Highly proficient in data leakage prevention (DLP) technologies.administering, supporting or consulting on Symantec Data Loss Prevention or competitive data loss prevention software products in an enterprise customer environment is required.
- Scripting knowledge (Perl, Regular Expression, Java )
- Strong people, project/task management and communication skills.
- Symantec STS certificate (DLP) is a plus.
- Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory® and Messaging technologies Such as Microsoft Exchange Server and Lotus Domino Server® is required, Linux® and security products
