Sybase IQ Application Support Analyst London

This exciting opportunity is suitable for a strong application support analyst who has an excellent background in Sybase Application Support. This role is with a top investment bank based in West London. This particular team support multiple applications across several different business areas, but in particular their in-house accounting general ledger systems. You will be dealing with some extremely high volume systems and you will be getting exposure to a large range of cutting edge technology. You will be the main point of contact for this team, so having substantial experience in the following is a must: - SQL (Sybase IQ/ ASE) - Unix - Accounting Systems - Good application support background within a financial institution. It would be also highly beneficial (but not necessary), so have some experience with: - C++ This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an investment bank which hasn't been dramatically affected by recent economic turmoil, and be part of a stable and critical team.
