Position Title:  Switch Technician

Job Information:  

The Switch Technician must possess sound technical knowledge and proficiency in Telecom and switching operations including a working knowledge of DSC and SS7, serves as a skilled liaison between the local market and multiple support groups.  Able to work with Telco providers to turn-up and test new and existing circuits and trunk work orders to include OC12, OC3, T3, T1 -  This position may require occasional travel between the different switch facilities as needed. Carrier add experience a plus, CDMA, iDEN, Long Distance and international voice and data switching platforms, VMS, SMS, STP/SS7, HLR, DACS, Transport, Routers.

AC/DC power plant, Test Equipment for RF and transport (DS0 through OC-192).Familiarity with field operations specific trouble ticket and network database systems. RF Transmission, and CPE skills.
