SW Engineer

For a big company in the Paper Handling Machine business, I´m searching for a Software Engineer with following tasks and skills:

Tasks:

? Developing of SW functionality in a paper feeding machine according given requirements
o Examples are: Implementation of diagnostic SW, service SW, new feeding features, debugging of existing SW
o Technical Environment: interface control (Ethernet, CAN, RS2323), OS (Nucleus), Controler (ARM9)
? Cooperative work with German SW Team
? failure analysis of existing feeder system (SW driven)
o reading and interpretating of logfiles
o simple checks of motors and sensors or signals with oscilloscope or voltmeter
o visual inspection of mechanical problems
o implementation of related solutions and workarrounds together with the German R&D team

Technical Skills:

? strong analytic skills, especially SW diagnosis and simple electronic measurements
? system engineering capabilities (understanding a paper feeding machine from SW point of view)
? programming skills in C
? experience in some of the above mentioned SW domains

? fluent in English
? self confident and self responsible
? customer friendly
? cooperative

Location: Near Stuttgart (Baden-Württemberg)
