SW Developer (m/f) with Strong 3GPP Experience

We are looking for SW DEVELOPER (M/F) WITH STRONG 3GPP EXPERIENCE for our client in Munich with the below requested skills and for the following tasks:

_TASKS_

- Development, integration and test of 3GPP layer 2 and layer 3 programming APIs and test scenarios for GSM, WCDMA and LTE signaling protocol, mobility and Inter-RAT tests
- Support of R&S 3GPP layer 2 - 3 protocol testing products for GSM, WCDMA and LTE
- Analysis and follow-up of customer problem reports via PR databases and by e-mail / telephone

_REQUIRED SKILLS_

- Minimum of 5 year experience in GSM, WCDMA or LTE RAN protocol stack / test case development
- Very good know-how of relevant 3GPP LTE (mandatory), WCDMA (optional) and GSM (optional) PHY, layer 2 and layer 3 radio access network core and test specifications
- strong 3GPP (GSM, WCDMA, LTE) protocol experience to extend CMW500 protocol testing software APIs and libraries, to develop 3GPP signaling protocol test cases and to support these tests at our customers.
- Experience in object oriented design and implementation of protocol test cases or protocol stacks in C / C++ for above RATs
- Practical experience working with mobile communications testers and test mobiles
- Very good communication and presentation skills (English)

_DEVELOPMENT TOOLS_

- Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 for test script development in C/C++
- CMW500 C++ test case development API and libs
- R&S protocol testing software tools for log file analysis
- R&S GLORIS PR database as a customer ticketing system
- Rational ClearCase for software configuration & build management
- Bugzilla for bug tracking

The start will be as soon as possible for a project-related employment at Harvey Nash or a freelance position in Munich.
