£16.45 p/h (£18.25 LTD)

We are looking for a Supported Housing Manager to work across Young Peoples services operated by a Housing Association in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with the leading provider of social and supported housing in Bristol & Somerset, housing 23,000 people in 11,000 homes and support services.

The role is to lead and manage a team delivering support and housing services to vulnerable young residents and clients in 64 properties in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. You will take the lead in ensuring continuous service improvement in the measurable areas of tenancies/licences, arrears, bad debts, value for money, move-on, anti social behaviour, resident and clients' involvements well as access of our services by diverse communities.

Key responsibilities will include

-To lead, inspire and manage staff and volunteers to ensure they are capable of delivering excellent value based services to our residents and clients.
-To set performance standards and targets with staff and volunteers and ensure that their performance is regularly subject to critical appraisal. You will ensure that all staff in your team are empowered, skilled and equipped to meet their objectives.
-To ensure that there is continuous improvement in your services and that each service meets or exceeds regulatory obligations and internal performance and financial targets.
-To develop, set and manage a budget for your services and ensure that performance against budgets is rigorously monitored.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills
-Knowledge of the management of and delivery of supported housing services.
-Ability to work flexible hours over 7 days, 24 hour period where required in accordance with service and resident requirements, including participation in an on-call rota
-Possession of a full driving licence and the ability to travel across the region in accordance with operational requirements.
-A track record of effectively leading and managing a team in a an environment of continuous change and high performance requirements

The role is offered on an initial 3-6 months contract with the potential for the role to go permanent within this time frame.
