Senior Support Engineer - Wiltshire - £45k - £55k - Global Travel

An excellent opportunity has arisen in the Southwest of England for an exceptional senior support engineer to join a global organisation within the telecommunications market.

The client that I am working alongside is a market leader in the development of next generation multimedia technology within the mobile broadband industry. My client is situated in commutable distances from all major towns along the M4 including Swindon,Bristol, bath andGloucester.

As part of the global support team you will get the opportunity to learn more about modern LTE infrastructures and device products.

The role will involve providing day to day technical support to field support teams and customers, working very closely with a senior support engineer, who will offer support and guidance and further training on the job. You will manage all support queries that have been escalated and provide solutions. You will resolve tickets and recreate field problems on a lab system and demonstrated to R&D.

Skills required:

- At least 5 years experience of technical support in a wireless or core network environment, vendor or operator.
- Knowledge of LTE systems, 3G systems
- Knowledge of IP networking, core networks, IP routing
- Knowledge and experience of Linux operating systems, Solaris 8/9/10 administration
- Good communication skillsT
