Projektbeschreibung

The individual in this role will support the product suite and related devices within a class-leading support organization that operates 24/7/365. The role favors the ability to independently collect information, correlate data, and troubleshoot complex customer problems to closure. Other tasks include detailed documentation of defects, trend analysis, learning new technologies through formal training or independent research, leading conference calls, contributing to a team wiki, and reviewing/writing technical documentation. Potential travel may be required.

SKILLS:

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ideal candidate has background in support, good customer skills, is fluent in Linux administration, and experience in troubleshooting of IP Networks.
- Operational familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, QAM, MPEG, case management/CRM, call center operations also a plus.
- Candidate will be a diligent self-starter but have ability to communicate, share, and interact with a group of 15+ spread across different time zones and continents.
- Individual would have degree or equivalent 2-4 years experience in Linux, networking, cloud, video, discipline.
- CCNA certification (and minimum 3+ years WAN network experience) would also be considered.
- Must have supported customers/people, not just systems. Need someone with people skills.
- Must have worked with some sort of ticketing system. Will be using PeopleSoft.
- Linux experience highly preferred as most of the tech in this role is Linux based.
