Support Analyst 3

Our client is a prominent Alaskan financial enterprise seeking a SUPPORT ANALYST to design and implement complex solutions for system integration.

OVERVIEW:

- Assist in the planning, recommendation, and implementation of changes to operating system platforms and related technologies in support of organizational goals.
- Provide coordination and project management on complex projects to include planning, scheduling and tracking project timelines and deliverables.
- Assist in the direction of project activities for the group to ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments and resolution of system related problems.
- Assist in training Project Support Analyst III, II and I positions.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of operating systems platforms and their capabilities, strategic technological trends and issues of information processing.
- Research hardware and software requirements to support enterprise projects.
- Review operating systems platforms to ensure optimal resource utilization and performance to support project requirements.
- Participate in RFI analysis ratings as it relates to Technical Requirements for new systems.
- Perform complex Scripting related to tailoring and integration of enterprise systems.
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field; or equivalent technical training and/or work experience
- 8 years progressive experience in Information Technology with at least 3 years as Project Support Analyst or in a related senior capacity
- Demonstrated proficiency in the planning and installation of operating system software across a variety of platforms
- Experience with Mainframe operating systems, multi-protocols (TCP/IP, SNA, IPX, X25, and Decnet), Microsoft languages, databases and tools
- Experience in SQL Server, UNIX and Client Server networking a plus
- Credit union or banking experience desirable
- Demonstrated project management skills required
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills
