Supply Chain Manager - Clinical Supply

Supply Chain Manager wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- University degree in science, engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years' practical experience in chemical or pharmaceutical industry
- Practical knowledge about the Drug Development process as well as familiarity with Project Management and knowledge of relevant regulations such as GMP, HSE etc.
- Solid problem-solving, presentation and leadership skills coupled with very good communication, negotiation and interpersonal competences
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams as well as to generate ideas
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Acting as key contributor to the Clinical Supply and Operations Planning process in TRD/BTDM as well as leading and managing all project and local network activities
- Creating and maintaining the end-to-end supply plan from Clinical Finished Good to Drug Substance in addition to harmonizing the supply strategy within GCS and contributing to the supply strategy of CHAD/PHAD/BTDM
- Leading the Clinical Demand Planning Meeting ensuring alignment between demand and supply in according to optimizing the inventory strategy at PP and CFG level together with CTSM
- Defining most cost efficient ordering levels from CFG to DS, ensuring compliance of processes with regulations, supporting long term demand and capacity planning in addition to managing ordering activities and master data requirements in SAP
- Communicating key issues and any critical topic in a timely manner, interpreting results, evaluating data, drawing conclusions and report back to team and management
- Monitoring and reporting Key Performance Indicators and performance measures to enable strategic objectives to be met, or corrective action to be taken
