Supply Chain Manager: Aberdeen (Mechanical)

In addition, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for: * Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and distributing materials, * equipment, machinery, and supplies. * Review vendor delivery and quality performance in conjunction with QA department. * Monitor vendor pricing trends. * People management duties including appraisal, leadership, motivation and discipline. * Initiation and management of purchasing reporting systems to Materials Manager * Manage internal records and processes. * Liaise with vendors to resolve material issues. Experience-wise, my client is looking for a Supply Chain Manager with experience of the following for the Supply Chain Manager role: * Relevant qualifications within the purchasing/ materials profession suitable but not * essential. * CIPS professional qualification * Proven track record within a Supply Chain environment and the management of vendors, stocks and department personnel * Management/Supervisory Skills including people management * Communication skills * Computer literate * Negotiation skills * Technical/Mechanical aptitude For the successful Supply Chain Manager, a salary of between £40,000 - £45,000 (Flex) is on offer.
