Job type: contract (5 Months Initially)

Skills: Supply chain, experience within the marine sector, superb communication skills

Location: Glasgow easily commutable from Edinburgh, Fife, Dunfermline and with excellent access from Central Scotland

Rate: 20.69 per hour

OUTSOURCE UK LTD IS ACTIVELY SEEKING TO RECRUIT A SUPPLY CHAIN LEAD- GOVERNANCE FOR A CONTRACT ROLE ON BEHALF OF A CLIENT.

THE CLIENT:
A leading Engineering and Defence organisation

THE JOB:
The purpose of the Supply Chain Lead role is to undertake a range of activities within the supply chain governance team to assure adherence to defined process, effectively managing risk to the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
The successful Supply Chain Lead candidate will be responsible for the following:
Conducting interviews with Supply Chain staff on Purchase Orders and Contractor on site Health & Safety management to verify process has been adhered to against a defined checklist/questionnaire
Maintenance and updating of an established Breach Log
Delivering training to our clients staff on defined process instructions

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
PC literate, with a proven track record in analytics and MI delivery to senior management
Supply Chain experience
Knowledge of Governance and or Audit an advantage
