SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR (NEW GRAD)

PRIMARY FOCUS:

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for optimizing the efficiency and integrity of the supply chain by liaising with Procurement, Logistics and the Supply Chain Manager.

THIS IS A 1 YEAR CONTRACT ENTRY-LEVEL OFFICE JOB WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION AND BECOMING FULL-TIME PERMANENT.

RECENT GRADUATES WITH A SUPPLY CHAIN RELATED DEGREE OR DIPLOMA ARE WELCOME TO APPLY. This is an entry-level position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Updating Supply Chain reports (Carrier scorecard, order fill, S/C bowling chart and KPI's)
- Working with the offsite warehouses to conduct tag reconciliation for finished good inventory to internal ERP system.
- TRANSPORTATION AND PURCHASE ORDER INVOICING AND DATA ENTRY.
- Offsite warehouse shipping, receiving and repack generation.
- Facilitating Chep movements through the Chep program and maintenance.
- Facilitating return goods management for all returns to plants and warehouse.
- Entering Wal-Mart orders into Wal-Mart RFR and liaison with Wal-Mart transportation group.
- Inventory auditing and aged inventory analysis.
- Tag management for all facilities, plants, warehouses and customer orders.
- Maintain stock rotation using various approaches such as 'last in first out' (LIFO) and 'first in first out' (FIFO), and dispose of, and account for obsolete stock
- Monitor inventory levels and inventory movement using manual or computerized inventory systems
- Review compiled inventory reports (quantity, type and value of materials/packaging and stock on hand)
- Assist procurement with R&D projects as delegated.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1-5 YEARS' EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A CROSS FUNCTIONAL ROLE IN SUPPLY CHAIN, OR
- RECENT GRADUATES WITH A POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION RELATING TO SUPPLY CHAIN/LOGISTICS/INVENTORY MANAGEMENT.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proficient with Excel and Access.
- Function in a time sensitive environment.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
