Supply Chain Analyst Job

SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in EMERYVILLE, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Monitor production planning/processes/standards and develop mechanisms to proactively identify issues impacting achievement of desired results. Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve production/inventory planning related issues
- Work with a variety of departments to assemble available business factors to develop strategy-driven production schedules or purchase plans
- Use data and quantitative analysis to provide high quality decision support and make appropriate recommendations to senior management team.
- Effectively communicate and maintain visibility to Raw Material and Finished Good inventory strategies, related business priorities, and production/purchase plans
- Support continuous improvement efforts and projects
- Maintain SAP system integrity and data
- Coordination and closure of quality system events as required (including: deviations, CAPA's, and change controls)
- Perform other duties as requested by management

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or relevant fields
- Five (5+) years practical experience in operations environment, of which at least five (5) years spent in supply chain-related function (planning/purchasing,/or distribution/logistics)
- Experience in planning and inventory mgmt., supply chain best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply results to resolve issues
- Familiarity with cGMP and ISO requirements
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrate orientation to achieving results maintaining an eye for detail and organization
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams/projects
- Demonstrated project management and execution skills
- Functional knowledge of SAP
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Experience in a global team desirable
- APICS certification desirable
