Supply Chain Analyst - Manchester - 12 Month Initial Contract - £12.38 Per Hour/£24,141 Per annum

Our client, a Global company is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to be based in Manchester on an initial 12 Month Contract.

Job Summary
To proactively support the regional business in the achievement of its growth goals and objectives by providing a single point of contact to coordinate all aspects of Logistics/Supply Chain and regional inventory support as directed by central team. To develop and maintain strong working partnerships with all key contacts, internal customers, external customers (where applicable) and business contacts up to senior level.

Job Description:
*First point of contact for Customer Service Representatives for order chasing/expediting/availability/lead-time enquiries/data requests (MOQ, Lead-time, Packaging etc)
*Communicate service and back order information to Customer Service Representatives
*Prepare Country Demand Review
*Host the Country Demand Review with Marketing
*Load New Activities into QV Sales & Operations
*Translate direction into forecast changes and load them.
*Escalate issues to Leader
*Document Sign-Off with Assumptions
*Follow up demand during promotions and manage inventory left-overs after
*To proactively manage all inventory requirements for LMI items, including purchase order creation, adherence to lead-time, maintenance of re-ordering parameters in line with current demand.
*Management of local consignment stock requirements as applicable.
*Management of regional converters/vendors as applicable
*Management of consignment inventory to Global financial Standards
*SKU management and local NWI management.
*Track critical orders, follow up overdue orders

Required Skills/Experience:

*High analytical skills, short-term planning and administrative skills.
*Senior PC knowledge, data mining tools, databases (all Microsoft Business Object Windows Software - High knowledge of Excel).
*Knowledge of the logistics supply chain processes.
*This role is report and data heavy, so candidate must have proven experience with this.
*There will be a high level of responsibility, the role is demanding and fast paced, so time management and prioritisation skills are essential.
*All candidates must have strong communication skills, along with a high competency for working with systems.
*Candidates MUST have held/be in the same or similar role .
