Supplier Quality Engineer

Our client are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality management in line with company control procedures, and relevant regulatory standards AS/EN 9100/EASA Part 21(G)/145. The day to day activities will be focused on Mechanical and Fabrication Suppliers

Aerospace experience is essential, as is knowledge of AS/EN 9100 and EASA Part 21(G)/145. You will work on site in Dorset 2-3 days a week, with the balance at supplier sites.

Activities will include:
Driving prioritised supplier non-conformance management and root cause analysis.
Engaging with the Internal Engineers and interrogation of Technical Drawings and Design Specifications.
Engaging with the Suppliers and establish root cause analysis and compliance issues.
Ensuring Quality Assurance for new and existing suppliers including audits, source inspections.
First Article Inspection sign-off and change control process management.
Supplier assessments in accordance with AS/EN 9100/EASA Part 21(G).
First Article buy-offs in accordance with AS/EN 9100.
Development of supplier capability via strategic and tactical improvement activities.
