Role - Supplier Change Control Specialist
Type - 18 month contract
Location - Co. Tipperary, Ireland
Role:
One of our key global pharmaceutical clients is in need of a Supplier Change Control professional for their Planning section of the Supply Chain Management department. This section is responsible for production planning, purchasing direct materials to support the supply production activities and Sales Order acceptance for the facility.
The primary function of the Supplier Change Control Specialist will be to act as the point of contact between the site and the supplier, to gather information necessary to enable the impact of changes to be assessed by the appropriate functional groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Member of a cross-functional team of the Supplier Change Evaluation (SCE) process to assess and qualify any changes that impact the plant.
Identify the technical requirements to justify each change.
Liaise with Suppliers to gather information in support of those changes which are initiated by company
Also gather information for Supplier-initiated changes which are within the scope of the SCM department.
Obtain the necessary supporting documentation/samples from Suppliers that can be used as the basis for a thorough evaluation of the change by relevant stakeholders within the Global Change Management (GCM) system.
Escalate any potential delays to the GCM Change Owner and the SCE Process Owner.
Ensure that each Supplier's details are maintained accurately on site systems.
Provide backup support and assistance for Transactional Procurement activities within the Supply Chain department.
Key Requirements:
Business or Life Science degree
Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical sector or GMP environment as a minimum.
Effective communications essential and collaboration skills, and the ability to work well within a cross-functional team.
Familiar with Supply Chain Management functions
Experience of dealing with Suppliers and managing change control
