Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber - Manchester

Our client has a job vacancy for a Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber to work in Manchester. This vacancy has an initial 6 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £25-35 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties:
- Conducting assessments.
- Assessing prescribing needs.
- Reviewing recovery plans.
- Providing information on HIV, Hepatitis B and C testing.
- Administering vaccinations for Hepatitis A and B.
- Ensuring service users, their carers and relevant professionals understand the treatment and recovery plans.

Requirements:
All applicants must be a fully Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered General Nurse and have a valid NMC pin. Applicants must have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working as a Non-Medical Prescriber and have relevant training or education in BBV's or Viral Hepatitis. An ENB 998 or equivalent and phlebotomy qualification is desirable.
