Structural Systems Engineer

An exciting new opportunity has recently become available within a leading tidal stream device developer based up in Scotland. The company are a preferred technology provider to a leading utility company and have several projects currently in the pipeline resulting in a new requirement for a structural systems engineer.

The role will involve the concept development of sub sea structures, the investigation of seabed interface interaction and connection design work in NX and FEA analysis. You will also be involved in the system management of all structural design, manufacturing and testing activities.

The ideal candidate will possess:

* MSc or BSc in a structural specialisation
* Experience with FEA software tools, application of offshore standards and sub sea applications.
* The successful candidate will be required to travel both within the UK and internationally

Experience in 3D multi-body modelling technique will be a distinct advantage.
