Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer required for busy Government department.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplined team, providing specialist input and design advice on structural engineering works to a wide and varied range of world-wide projects.
Working on projects from inception to completion, assisting the project manager to ensure closure is reached to quality, time and budget. Assisting in the engagement of customers, stakeholders and end-users and problem solving along the way.
As Civil/Structural Engineer, the job will require the management of appointed external consultants and contractors to ensure that projects meet the technical brief and management of financial resources in order to achieve value for money.
Responsibilities include providing engineering and production information design input to new build and refurbishment schemes.
Prepare design & tender drawings and specifications as per procurement contract requirements.
Candidates must hold a Chartered Professional Civil/Structural Engineering Qualification - Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council (CEng)
Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in the field.
Corporate member of professional Engineering body ie Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE) or Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE)
Proven track record in leading design and construction teams through project management processes.
Knowledge of Design Software: AutoCAD, REVIT, Vectorworks, Sketch-up & Photoshop.
Candidates must be British Passport holders and be willing to undergo Security Clearance.
