Structural Design Engineer - Mechanical

I am currently seeking 2 experience Structural Engineers to work with a client based in Belgium. Some key information regarding this unique opportunity is as follows:

Rate: Competitive (undisclosed as per client's request)
Duration: 6 months +
Location: Near Ghent, Belgium

The Company
My client specialises in optical instruments largely for space and military applications. They are a long established company and are well recognised as a leading name within their industry. Some examples of their products include (but are not limited to) fibre optics, Laser technology, light intensification and holography.

The Role
Mechanical design mainly combined with a structural design mindset. The thermal and mechanical analysis will be done externally, followed up by in house engineers so no analysis experience is required as such.

Skills & Experience Required
*Space project experience, preferably with ESA
*Spoken and written English compulsory with good aptitude to write technical reports
*Mechanical Engineering experience
*Highly motivated and hard working
*Team player but can work also in standalone manner
*SolidWorks experience would be an advantage but other CAD packages considered.
