Streambase/Java Developer

For one of our clients in Zurich we are looking for a Senior Java developer with strong Linux knowledge. This would be a one year contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Creating new features for current and new applications regarding the business requirements in the area of Equities and FX
- Helping with the Linux system administration, monitoring and Scripting to setup, automating and optimizing the applications
- Creating Unit tests, being part of the System Integration Testing
- Supporting and troubleshooting

REQUIREMENTS:

- Higher education in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7-10 years of experience in software development and low-latency development are must
- More than 5 years of experience with Complex Event Processing systems such as TIBCO/Apama/StreamBase or others
- Excellent knowledge of multi-threaded and/or asynchronous programming with Java
- Excellent knowledge of Linux administration and Shell Scripting skills
- Relational database experience such as Oracle, Sql Server, including database design and SQL enhancement
- Good experience with FX and structured products
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Experience with enterprise messaging including TIBCO Rendezvous, TIBCO FTL, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ would be a plus
