An experienced and skilled Strategic Sourcing Specialist is required to join a nationally known company on an initial three month contract. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be working within the Contracts and Procurement team and will be responsible for establishing company-wide commercial arrangements, providing analytical support, and process support through all stages of the contracts and procurement process.

You will need to have a proven history of success in a similar sourcing role working at a strategic level in complex large organisations.

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be undertaking data collection activities and working with internal customers to develop robust business forecasts, and aim to identify inconsistencies in current processes and specifications. The role will also require the undertaking of supply market analysis, and reporting on the findings making fact based recommendations. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will work closely during sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract management processes with the aim of delivering the best deal for the organisation.

This is a contract role based in Milton Keynes for an initial 3 month basis, with daily rates available up to £500 for the right candidate.

Travel between London, Milton Keynes, and other key sites may be required.
