STRATEGIC SOURCING MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in PRINCETON, NJ

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Minimum of seven years of experience in procurement with a minimum of 3 years within the goods and services related to spend areas
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools, SAP, Save Plan, SharePoint & Emptoris
- Strong knowledge of Pharmaceutical Processing Equipment & facilities infrastructure that supports a pharmaceutical plant and the associated outsourced services that are purchased for the maintenance of this type of facility
- Proven negotiation and supplier management skills as well as experience in the drafting and management of contracts
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills in conjunction with the ability to manage multiple projects

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Providing procurement support services with regards to all spend in the area of MRO ( "Maintenance, Repair & Operating Supplies") both on the OpEx and to a lesser degree CapEx
- Proactively scoping, initiating and leading cost efficiency projects in conjunction with functional business stakeholders related to general Technical Operations and Product Development to add value and reduce costs in specific areas of spend
- Soliciting proposals/quotes, contract negotiation, coordinating performance warranties and resolving problems relating to supplier or equipment non-performance
- Align with the goals of the US and global procurement team and the US and internal business stakeholders to rationalize supply base, achieve cost savings and efficiencies, and perform contract negotiations and administration to be compliant, legal, and auditable
- Leveraging spend across plants, collaborating with local, cross-divisional and global procurement to achieve savings goals and act as a liaison between sites to ensure maximum opportunity is achieved for all purchases
