An experienced and skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager is required to join a nationally known company on an initial five month contract. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be working with stakeholders and internal staff in order to deliver optimal commercial arrangements within the Strategic Sourcing framework. Key responsibilities of the role will include managing staff, teams, and stakeholders, and to act as the key point of contact for sourcing and supplier performance management.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be able to develop effective sourcing and supplier performance management strategies, and robust business wide sourcing strategies which will include market analysis and identify trends and cost drivers. The right candidate will be commercially focused and able to deliver value to the sourcing process in line with over all organisation goals.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager will have a strong track record of developing sourcing strategies in line with procurement best practice in large complex organisations, and be able to draw conclusions from financial analysis in order to negotiate the best value for money. Outstanding stakeholder and communication skills are a must, and the ability to influence change adverse environments will be key. Any experience of eSourcing and eAuction systems will be highly advantageous.

This is a contract role based in Milton Keynes for an initial five months until the end of June, with daily rates available up to £480 for the right candidate. Travel between London, Milton Keynes, and other key sites may be required.
