Strategic Sourcer - Vendor Manager

My Client is a Bank based in Zurich in need of Strategic Sourcer - Vendor Manager

This bank needs an experienced Sourcer/Vendor Manager to join their international procurement team based in Zurich. The main tasks will include indirect sourcing, supplier assessment and reviews as well as contract negotiations. This team based in Zurich is mainly sourcing for vendors providing non IT services such as marketing, communications or HR solutions.

As the Strategic Sourcer/Vendor Manager in Zurich you will be a key part of influencing the bank's global sourcing strategy.

Essential Experience/Skills required for this Vendor Manager job:

- 4+ years in similar position, preferably in banking (essential).
- Extensive experience in indirect sourcing
- Ability to speak confidently to stakeholders in fluent English and German
- Experience negotiating contracts with non IT suppliers
- Good interpersonal skills.
