Our client, a cutting edge insurance company, is looking for a Strategic Business Consultant; to join their organization at the Zurich branch. The ideal candidate has experience within any of the BIG 4 consultancy.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Contribute to the strategic planning of the overall technology portfolio as a thought partner conceptually design and drive the delivery of high quality business systems solutions, enabling the business to achieve their strategic goals
- Contribute to the strategic planning of Information Systems and technology directions to be undertaken by the organization
- Ensure business and technology alignment & synchronization as defined by the business portfolio management process
- Consults with business partners to collect, analyze, and document enterprise solutions
- Influences strategic relationships with stakeholders, managing the development and implementation of innovative enterprise business solutions, through business partnerships and vendor negotiations
- Takes ownership for high quality stakeholder communications including delivering informative, well-organized solutions suitable for a senior level audience
- Participates in identification of enterprise opportunities that impact corporate business strategy and performance
- Supports highly complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions
- Negotiates resolution of conflicting or competing objectives across departments
- Designs solutions by leading a process for identifying and evaluating options for the business and serving as a communication and knowledge bridge between the appropriate constituents
- Recommends business process redesign where applicable
REQUIRED SKILLS/& EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the Finance Industry specifically within an Investment area
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise perspectives of business operations, business processes, information systems, systems architecture, and project life cycle knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in related field specialized training, certification or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated competencies in relationship building, influencing, and consultative skills
