Storage Specialist | 6 Month Contract | New Project

THE CLIENT:

Our client is a leading technology consultancy with a large global presence. Their head office is based in Rhodes and easily accessed by public transport. In addition to this parking may also be provided.

THE ROLE:

Our client is seekin a Storage Engineer to work on a large scale project on behalf of their client, a leading carrier here in Australia. Working as part of a newly formed project team, you will work at "Specialist" level in conjunction with other members within the team.

SOME BASIC DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Execution of backups using Netbackup
- Storage clean up during decommissioning phase
- Provide advice and guidance to other Teams with storage related planning and solutions to align performance, capacity and budget
- Plan, design, sustain, and performance-tune storage environments to align with application performance

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Our client is seeking an experienced Storage professional with a minimum of 5 years experience. The ideal candidate will have a good mix of the following (but not all) the below technologies outlined

- Netbackup
- Storage Area Networks
- EVA replication solutions
- Openview Storage
- Switch Technologies (Brocade)
- Cisco technologies
