STORAGE OPERATIONS - STORAGE ENGINEER - NETBACKUP/NETAPP  - SC CLEARED

Our Client a leading consultancy is currently seeking the services of an SC Cleared Storage Operations  /Backup Consultant for an initial 3 month contract to work on Security Cleared projects.

Key Technical Skills

Members of the Storage Operate Team will need to be skilled and experienced in:

Configuration and management of NetApp FAS3200 series filers in a high availability environment;
NAS- CIFS, NAS - NFS, Snapshot, Snaprestore, Volume Management;
Configuration and management of replication through the use of SnapMirror;
NetApp OnCommand;
Competent management of NetApp systems from the command line;
Expert knowledge of Data OnTap 8.

- Symantec NetBackup 7.x (preferably 7.5.x.x)
- Management of Quantum enterprise tape libraries.
- Symantec NetBackup 7.x (preferably 7.5.x.x)
- Policy configuration and maintenance
- Vaulting
- Storage life cycle policies configuration and maintenance
- Management of a deduplicated environment (MSDP).
- Storage pool configuration
- Management of Quantum enterprise tape libraries.
- NetBackup performance monitoring and tuning

Candidates must hold a live SC Level Clearance or must be willing and able to undergo SC Level Clearance
