STB TESTER/PPV, VOD, DVR, EPG/GLOBAL TELECOMS ORGANISATION

Our client a Global Consultancy is looking for a STB tester to be part of Technical Field Trial support team with STB testing background and can coordinate TFT activities.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide technical input in regards to projects, development of test documents, test reports and defect reports
- Monitoring field trials for new and updated products.
- Report issues to engineers from field trial testing and verify resolved issues before rolling out products to production
- Support development/integration teams for defects reproduction, analysis and debugging

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience of STB testing for all critical DTV features such as PPV, VOD, DVR and EPG is mandatory
- Good understanding of Client Server Technologies within Broadcast Video Head-end Architectures is required
- Understanding in testing DTV features for smart device sync up with STB (iOS & Android)
- Experience in System integration testing on STBs would be a definite plus
- Clear communication is a must to report issues to engineering team
- Excellent troubleshooting skills required
