An international Pharma company is looking for a Statistician with a Postdoctoral for a position in the German speaking part inSwitzerland. The company has around 20.000 employees in more then 80 countries. Further the focus of the company is on technologies in Crop Protection, Seeds and Seed Care for to make the crop growth more efficient and effective in the world.

Ideal candidates will have a PhD or a MSc in statistics, or other relevant subject and be fluent in English. You will be taking a share of the statistical responsibilities in this department, which will be centred upon a number of key activities:

- Use and promotion of statistical methods in Active Ingredient Design
- Plan and conduct, in close interactions with chemists, modelers and biologists, quantitative structure-property relationship analyses in oder to find the next generations of phytosanitary products
- Perform on a regular basis, optimal Design of Experiments and multivariate (Q)SAR analyses, modelling of datasets and predictions of response of prospective, novel compounds
- Support the chemist to interpret the models and expand the chemical space of interest
- Identification of underlying interactions, severe assessments of models for goodness of fit, stability, predictive ability etc
- Applying your knowledge and expertise to help solving and understanding a large variety of problems in crop-protection projects
