PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Staff Systems Scientist will support the Systems Engineering Group within Chemistry R&D and will be responsible for ensuring that user needs are properly taken into account on clinical chemistry platforms. This entails leading and/or participating in cross functional teams to understand laboratory business/workflow needs and translating them into design requirements and product concepts. Additionally, this position will lead and conduct concept/prototype evaluations and trade off analyses to help iterate and refine user touch points and workflows. Position will also be responsible for leading and/or participating in activities to identify and mitigate potential customer misuse scenarios.
