Staff Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Primary responsibility for review of inter-company reconciliations prepared, preparation of inter-company elimination entries and assessment of inter-company aging and aged items.
- Review of inter-company accounts reconciliations.
- Review and preparation of monthly elimination entries.
- Maintaining financial information by preparing accounting data and requests.
- Developing financial information by researching and analysing accounting data to meet management requests.
- Working directly with other departments and business partners to resolve inter-company differences.
- Maintain and develop relationships with sites serviced by the Shared Services.
- Assist projects that require creativity, strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and apply technological tools.

SKILLS

B.S. degree in Accounting required. Minimum five years accounting experience. SAP experience required. Ability to work independently and handle several projects at once. Must clearly demonstrate the interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact with business partners and division management. Strong leadership, technology and organizational skills. Shared Services experience a plus. MBA/CPA preferred. Supervisory skills are a plus. 1-3 years Excel experience desired.
