Stability Control Systems Tuning Engineer - 23456 - 29.85 L

A Stability Control Systems Tuning Engineer with Stability Control experience is required to work within Chassis Engineering on contract for our Client, an OEM specialising in luxury and SUV/Off road vehicles.

The position will be based in the West Midlands.

Positions description:
The applicant will be required to tune the software parameters within the Stability Control System in such a way as to optimize the performance of the vehicle in all operating conditions as defined by the OEM Manoeuvres Catalogue and performance targets applicable to the specific vehicle.

Experience / Education required:

* High level driving skills at and beyond the adhesion limit in a range of high and low mu test environments.
* Chassis tuning and analysis of vehicle handling characteristics during a driving manoeuvre.
* Software tuning of the Stability Control System Continental Teves or Bosch experience an advantage.
* Stability Control System tuning for an OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
* Automotive or mechanical engineering.
* This role will involve travelling between a number of test venues at the UK and over main land Europe.
