SRM Project Manager

Krish IT Solutions is a SAP Consulting Company working in niche verticals like Oil and Gas with offices in India, US, UK, United Arab Emirates and Oman. One of our valuable customer in the ME region requires the below consultant for their on going project for 1 year in Contract.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Has the overall accountability for the success of the project.
- Provides full oversight to the project and facilitates key stakeholder engagements.
- Reports directly to the Steering Committee and reports expenditure against budget and variances.
- Coordinates with delivery manager to ensure project is on track.
- Responsible for project budget, project procurement in line with the policies, and relevant contracts.
- Manages project direction so that Senior Management expectations are fulfilled.
- Secures the ongoing quality and relevant consultants and resources to the project team.
- Responsible to address and solve project issues, risks, and gaps.
- Monitors and completes all reporting requirements (plans, monthly status reports, control cards, progress curve, PSC updates, etc.).
- Continuously assesses readiness for go-live and informs steering committee accordingly.
- Chairs project weekly meetings as well as Gap Approval Board for the functional gaps and development efforts.
- Conducts weekly sponsor briefing and requests sponsor engagement as necessary.
- Prepares project evaluation forms for project team members (project performance appraisal) and ensures competence development of local project resources.
- Formally accepts vendor's services (timesheets, change orders, Service Entries, completion certificate, etc.).
- Coordinates with IM&T to secure required software licenses.
- Follows up project payments for consultants, licenses, and any other procured material or services.
- Defines support model post go-live and facilitates handover to support team including knowledge transfer, training, punch list, benefit realization plan, etc.
- Closes out project including financial closing and production of project closure report containing demobilization plan, lessons learnt and future recommendations.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

- An energetic professional with at least 15 years of SAP cross discipline experience with proven delivery and change management capability (SRM & MM experience is a definite plus)
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent (MBA is an asset)
- Previous EP Oil & Gas Industry Experience is required
- A minimum of 5 large-size full-cycle projects experience
- Noticeable previous experience in playing roles of integration, quality control, change, and project management
- Technical and Functional knowledge (contracts & procurement processes, development & configuration, training design and delivery, cutover planning, dry run, data migration, technical architecture, testing, knowledge transfer, etc.)
- Strong strategic capabilities in defining various project strategies (change & communication, governance, testing, training, cutover, support, data migration, etc.)
- Strong leadership skills, effective communicator with good influencing skills
- Goal oriented with a high degree of achievement drive and initiative and ability to get things done
- High analytical ability combined with pragmatic approach to solving problems
- Excellent management, communication, presentation, facilitation, interpersonal and teamwork skills (PMI certification is an asset)
