Sr. Systems Engineer

Makes independent decisions. Assist in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions. This position will work on development and transfer of instruments to internal and external manufacturing operations. Prepare and maintain design transfer plan for new instrument design. Provides technical knowledge of design transfer principles and their applications to ensure that cost-effective, reliable and high-quality systems satisfy customer needs and business requirements are delivered. Maintains extensive knowledge of principles, theories, and practices in design in excellence activities such as design for manufacturability, assembly and test (DFMAT) and design for cost (DTC).

Must Have Skills:

-Good knowledge and experience in product development and introduction
-Experience in planning and transitioning new product to manufacturing
-Experience with Microsoft Project - PMP is a plus
-Good understanding of product cost structure and analysis
-Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
