Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer - Contract to HIRE - Minnesota

A leading medical device company, located in Minneapolis, is in need of a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer on a contract to hire basis to support the ongoing supplier base and supplier management program.

The Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

- Provide direct quality engineering support to supply chain
- Act as the supplier SME
- Participate in supplier review board meetings
- Manage suppler quality audit program by coordinating and participating in internal and outside audits
- Recommend and implement quality improvements of product and process
- Participate in CAPA

The Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer must meet the following requirements:

- B.S. in life sciences or engineering
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in supplier management
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the medical device industry
- Experience in process and product validation
- Ability to travel
- Excellent communicator
- Certified Quality Engineer (preferred but not required)
