Sr. Software Verification Engineer - Dedical Device

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Performs verification activities ranging from developing, coordinating and executing verification tests to developing test automation scripts.
* Assists in defining test strategies and identifies test technologies.
* Develops or uses state of the art test automation and debugging tools.
* Ensures full traceability between requirements and test cases.
* Conforms to software engineering principles and all specified design controls.
* Assists in root cause analysis of software issues.
* Complies to FDA design controls for Class III medical software.
* Assists in requirements development activities.
* Assists with programmer application usability assessments.
* Complies with all design-related standards developed by external regulatory groups.
* Complies with department and corporate quality initiatives.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

* With BSEE/BSCS, 7-9 years in software development or verification. >2 years working in a class III medical device industry or other critical, regulated industries
* With MSEE/MSCS, 4-6 years in software development or verification. >2 years working in a class III medical device industry or other critical, regulated industries
* Or equivalent education, experience, skill set, and/or proven performance
* Skills/Technical Requirement
o Strong experience of disciplined software development processes
o Strong working knowledge of OO design
o Strong working knowledge of programming language: C, C#, Java, C++
o Working familiarity with state-of-the-art automated verification tools
o Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
o Good writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills
o Ability to give and receive instructions
