Sr. Software Devloper C/C++ - NYC, Flexible Salary

Well-known financial services company located in NYC seeking a talented Senior Software Developer C++ to join rapidly growing R&D team. Your main responsibility will be to build and support a large scale compliance system for real-time communication on various platform products. This system will perform compliance checks, as well as archiving and indesing of all correspondence exchanged between users. You will also be researching alternative methods and solutions of varying tasks when met with obstacles. Main day-to-day activities will include the development and integration of applications, as well as maintenance and enhancements of existing software.

Requirements:

* Min. 5 years experience in software development in Unix
* Strong knowledge in C/C++
* Experienced in building large-scale distribution and indexing systems
* Strong knowledge in network programming and multi-threading
* Excellent with problem-solving and multi-tasking using creative solutions
* Experience in Java, windows platform & MS Exchange Server is a PLUS!
